Repair & Maintenance

Not every problem needs a new unit. If you have lukewarm water, a pilot light that won't stay lit, or a popping noise (sediment buildup), we can often repair it. We replace heating elements, thermostats, and thermocouples to extend the life of your current water heater.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does a water heater replacement cost in Sellersville, PA? Cost varies by size and type (gas vs. electric). We provide a flat-rate quote that includes the unit, installation, parts, and disposal of the old tank.
  • Why go tankless? Tankless units save space (wall-mounted), last longer (20+ years), and reduce energy bills because they don't heat water when you aren't using it.
  • What causes a water heater to leak? Usually, it’s the steel tank rusting through after the anode rod has been depleted. Once the tank rusts, it must be replaced.
  • Do you install electric water heaters? Yes. We install electric tanks and high-efficiency hybrid heat pump water heaters, which are great for all-electric homes.
  • How long does installation take? A standard swap takes 2-4 hours. A tankless conversion is a bigger job, typically taking a full day due to gas and vent work.

Sellersville, PA Insights: Population,
Zip Codes, Influence, and Service Areas

Sellersville was founded in the early 18th century. It was centered on a major road known as Bethlehem Pike that connected Philadelphia to Bethlehem and the rest of what was then far Western Pennsylvania. The town was very small and was called Sellers Tavern. Its most notable feature was a large inn. The present Washington House in Sellersville, however, was not Sellers Tavern. The town grew slowly over the years until the Industrial Revolution. In the 1860s the North Pennsylvania Railroad was built, running parallel to Bethlehem Pike: this stimulated the growth of light textile industries and brought a wave of population growth. The East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek runs through the town which connects it to an adjacent town of Perkasie. This creek was dammed in the early 20th century creating a small body of water known as Lake Lenape. Along the length of the lake a park was built on Perkasie and Sellersville lands. In the 1920s and 1930s this park housed a carousel, a roller coaster and several other amusements. The railroad brought hundreds of people from Philadelphia in the summer time, and it became a well known vacation spot for blue collar city workers.
