Frequently Asked Questions

  • What counts as a plumbing emergency? Any situation where water is actively damaging your home (flooding), you have no water service, or there is a sewage backup is considered an emergency.
  • Do you charge extra for nights and weekends? We provide transparent pricing. While emergency services command a premium due to the immediate dispatch, we provide the quote upfront before work begins.
  • Can you fix a leak behind a wall? Yes. We carefully cut the drywall to access the pipe, repair the leak, and ensure the area is dry before we leave.
  • What do I do while waiting for the plumber? Turn off the water main if possible. Open the lowest faucet in the house (like a basement sink) to drain the remaining water pressure. Stay away from sewage.
  • Do you bring the parts with you? Yes. Our "warehouse on wheels" concept means we carry thousands of parts to handle 90% of plumbing emergencies in a single visit.

Hamshire (/ˈhæmʃər/ HAM-shər) is an unincorporated community in western Jefferson County, Texas, United States. It was probably named for Lovan Hamshire, who developed the land as early as the 1870s. Hamshire was on the Gulf and Interstate Railway with a post office being established there in 1897. Although there was interest shown by local rice farmers, Hamshire had only fifty inhabitants in 1928. The Fannett (1927) and Stowell (1941) oil fields discovery initiated new development in western Jefferson County. By 1940, the population in Hamshire had grown to 200.
